Lechon Paksiw Recipe

Lechon Paksiw Recipe is a great way to recooked your leftover lechon or roasted pork dish. A nice recipe to add in your recipe arsenal for this coming holiday.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kilogram Chopped Lechon or Roasted Pork
  • 4 Tablespoons Olive Oil or Meat Drippings
  • 8 cloves Garlic, chopped
  • 1 bulb Onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Light Soy Sauce
  • 3/4 cup Vinegar
  • 2 cups Lechon Sauce
  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 pieces Beef Bouillon Cubes
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper

Method
 

  1. Set a side the chopped lechon or roasted pork.
  2. Sauté garlic and onion in olive oil.
  3. Add brown sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, lechon sauce, water, bouillon cubes and ground black pepper. Boil and simmer for 2 hours over low heat.
  4. Stir from time to time to avoid burning. Add more water as needed.
