Ube Champorado Recipe

Easy Ube Champorado Recipe

This champorado recipe uses ube halaya instead of the usual chocolate.  

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Glutinous Rice Washed
  • 12 cups Water
  • 6 cups Ube Halaya
  • 2 Tablespoons Coconut Sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

Method
 

  1. Cook together rice and water until rice is soft.  Start stirring when the rice is starts to cook.
  2. Add Ube Halaya slowly with continuous stirring.
  3. Add coconut sugar and salt.
  4. Stir until cooked.
