Sardines with Odong Noodles

Sautéed Sardines mixed with odong noodles to make it extra special.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 6 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 bulb Onion, chopped
  • 3 pieces Ripe Tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 cup Rice Wash or Water
  • 155 grams Regular Sardines in Tomato Sauce
  • 155 grams Spicy Sardines in Tomato Sauce
  • 2 cups Rice Wash or Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Oyster Sauce
  • 30 grams Odong Noodles
  • Fish Sauce
  • Ground Black Pepper
  • Chives, chopped
  • Hard Boiled Eggs

Instructions
 

  • In a hot pan, saute garlic, onion and tomatoes in olive oil. Add rice wash and cover until the tomatoes are soft.
  • Press the softened tomatoes with the back of your wooden spoon to release its juice.
  • Add the sardines, rice wash and oyster sauce. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Add the odong noodles and simmer until the noodles are al dente.
  • Season with fish sauce and ground black pepper.
  • Garnish with chopped chives.
