Sardines with Odong Noodles

Sautéed Sardines mixed with odong noodles to make it extra special.

- 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 6 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 bulb Onion, chopped
- 3 pieces Ripe Tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 cup Rice Wash or Water
- 155 grams Regular Sardines in Tomato Sauce
- 155 grams Spicy Sardines in Tomato Sauce
- 2 cups Rice Wash or Water
- 2 Tablespoons Oyster Sauce
- 30 grams Odong Noodles
- Fish Sauce
- Ground Black Pepper
- Chives, chopped
- Hard Boiled Eggs
In a hot pan, saute garlic, onion and tomatoes in olive oil. Add rice wash and cover until the tomatoes are soft.
Press the softened tomatoes with the back of your wooden spoon to release its juice.
Add the sardines, rice wash and oyster sauce. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
Add the odong noodles and simmer until the noodles are al dente.
Season with fish sauce and ground black pepper.
Garnish with chopped chives.
