Garlic Butter Shrimp

This is a quick recipe of Galric Butter Shrimp. Lightly drench the shrimps in flour mixture and deep fried. Then, stir fry in butter garlic sauce. The breading really helps the butter garlic sauce stick to the shrimps.

Ingredients
  

Shrimp Preparation
  • 500 grams Shrimps
  • Salt
  • Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Potato Flour
  • Salt
  • Ground Black Pepper
  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Oil for Deep Frying
Garlic Butter Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 8 cloves Garlic, chopped
  • Salt
  • Ground Black Pepper
Garnish
  • Chopped Onion Spring or Parsley
  • Lemon Wedges

Method
 

Shrimp Preparation
  1. Thoroughly clean the shrimps. Remove its shells except its head. Cut off its whisker. Wash and drain. Season with salt and pepper. Set a side.
  2. Combine potato flour, salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. Mix until combined.
  3. Drench the shrimps until lightly covered. Deep fry in hot cooking oil until golden brown. Approximately 3 minutes.
Garlic Butter Sauce
  1. In a pan combine butter, olive oil and garlic. Switch on heat to very low setting.
  2. Let the butter melt very slowly. Maintain setting for 5 minutes of until the garlic is cooked but still white translucent in color.
  3. Add the shrmips and stir until every shrimps are covered with the garlic butter sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Garnish with lemon wedges and chopped onion spring or parsley.
