Lasagna Bites Recipe

Lasagna Bites Recipe is a bit tedious to prepare but totally worth it. It is a new way to serve your lasagna recipe. You can serve it as an appetizer, snack or even party finger food.

Ingredients
  

  • 15 pieces Lasagna Noodles
Meat Filling
  • 1 kilogram Ground Pork
  • 1 cup Water
  • 8 cloves Garlic, chopped
  • 1 piece Onion, chopped
  • 1 bar Cream
  • 250 mL All Purpose Cream
  • Salt
  • Ground Black Pepper
Marinara Sauce
  • 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 6 cloves Garlic, Chopped
  • 1 piece Onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 740 mL Canned Crushed Tomatoes
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Chopped Black Olives
  • 3 Tablespoons Chopped Parsley
  • Salt
  • Ground Black Pepper
Breading
  • 3 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 3 piece Eggs, beaten
  • 6 Tablespoons Milk
  • 6 Tablespoons Water
  • 4 cups Panko
  • 1 Tablespoons Italian Seasoning
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Dried Parmesan Cheese

Method
 

  1. Cook Lasagna Noodles according to package direction. Drain and set a side.
Meat Filling
  1. In a sauce pan, combine ground pork and water. Cover, boil and simmer until the water evaporates and the fat from the pork oozed out.
  2. Stir the pork until golden brown. Place the ground pork on one side of the pan.
  3. Sauté garlic and onion.
  4. Stir together the ground pork, garlic and onion. Scoop out excess oil.
  5. Add the cream cheese and all purpose cream. Stir everything together.
  6. Season with salt and ground black pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes and set a side to cool to room temperature.
Marinara Sauce
  1. Place oil in hot sauce pan. Sauté garlic, onion and Italian seasoning.
  2. Add the crushed tomatoes, brown sugar, black olives and parsley. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes over low heat.
Breading
  1. Place all purpose flour in a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine eggs, milk and water. Beat again to combine everything.
  3. In another bowl, combine panko and Italian seasoning. Mix to combine.
How to Prepare Lasagna Bites Recipe
  1. Cut the lasagna noodle into three parts. Take a spoonful of the filling and place on one end of the lasagna noodle and roll. Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Place in the freezer to harden.
  2. Roll the hardened lasagna rolls in the flour bowl, then, dip it in the egg mixture and the panko mixture. Deep fry until golden brown in hot oil.
  3. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Serve the lasagna bites with the marinara sauce.
