Ingredients
Method
- Cook Lasagna Noodles according to package direction. Drain and set a side.
Meat Filling
- In a sauce pan, combine ground pork and water. Cover, boil and simmer until the water evaporates and the fat from the pork oozed out.
- Stir the pork until golden brown. Place the ground pork on one side of the pan.
- Sauté garlic and onion.
- Stir together the ground pork, garlic and onion. Scoop out excess oil.
- Add the cream cheese and all purpose cream. Stir everything together.
- Season with salt and ground black pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes and set a side to cool to room temperature.
Marinara Sauce
- Place oil in hot sauce pan. Sauté garlic, onion and Italian seasoning.
- Add the crushed tomatoes, brown sugar, black olives and parsley. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes over low heat.
Breading
- Place all purpose flour in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, combine eggs, milk and water. Beat again to combine everything.
- In another bowl, combine panko and Italian seasoning. Mix to combine.
How to Prepare Lasagna Bites Recipe
- Cut the lasagna noodle into three parts. Take a spoonful of the filling and place on one end of the lasagna noodle and roll. Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Place in the freezer to harden.
- Roll the hardened lasagna rolls in the flour bowl, then, dip it in the egg mixture and the panko mixture. Deep fry until golden brown in hot oil.
- Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Serve the lasagna bites with the marinara sauce.
