Fried Tofu Preparation
- Buy a good quality firm tofu. Sliced it to your desired sized and leave on a plate for 30 to 45 minutes to remove excess liquid. Deep fried until golden brown and set a side.
Spicy Frozen Siomai Stew
- Place vegetable oil, leeks, garlic, ginger and chili on a pan. Heat oil over low heat until the garlic is cooked.
- Add water, beef cube, gochujang and kimchi seasoning. Boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add the frozen siomai and fried tofu. Simmer for another 15 minutes.
- Season with salt and garnish with chopped onion leeks.
- Serve with kimchi fried rice or egg noodles.
