Sarciadong Isda Recipe is a great and simple recipe to turn your ordinary fried fish or even your leftover fried fish to something special. If you are tired of eating fried fish and wants something new, this recipe is for you.
I remember my dad introduced this dish to us when we were young. He would use dalagang bukid or tilapia for fried fish and it was delicious. The sauce is tangy, savory and eggy in flavor.
The recipe includes two steps: frying the fish and making the sarciado sauce. For the sauce you simply need to sauté the garlic, onion and tomatoes. Then, add some water and the fried fish. Pour over the lightly beaten eggs and gently stir to mix.
My mom bought a quarter kilo of salay salay fish and she instructed me to fry it. However, I’m bored of eating fried fish and I want something new. I could either cook it paksiw way or pinangat, which is equally tasty, but I remembered we haven’t had sarciado for a while.
Tips
For this Sarciadong Isda Recipe I used salay salay fish. However, you can actually use tilapia and dalagang bukid for fried fish. For this recipe, I decided to threw in some mustard leaves which were excess from the fish sinigang we cooked last Friday. Oh yeah! It turned out great.
On the second thought, adding some green leafy vegetables to this dish will make it more delicious. Malunggay leaves is my most recommended leafy vegetable for this recipe.
