It’s Monday tomorrow and it’s the start of work week and for moms out there, I know it’s really hard what your going to cook for your children’s lunch or baon, right? My mom was. Tonight I decided to cook for tomorrow’s pack lunch.
My mom told me she bought a quarter kilo of prawns and she has some vegetables in the fridge. However, I decided to save the vegetables some other day and focus on the prawns. I thought of doing a chili prawns recipe but my sriracha is not enough and I just decided to simply stir fry the prawns in oyster sauce.
Ingredients
4 Tablespoons Olive Oil
6 cloves Garlic, chopped
2 Tablespoon Grated Ginger
1/4 kilo Prawn, deveined
2 Tablespoons Oyster Sauce
1 teaspoon Light Soy Sauce
1 teaspoon Sriracha
1/2 teaspoon Sugar
Pepper
1/4 cup Chinese Rice Wine
Chopped Parsley
Sesame Oil
Procedure
Combine olive oil, garlic and ginger in a pan and turn on switch to very low heat. Heat garlic and ginger for 5 minutes. We want to extract the flavor of garlic and ginger very slowly.
Premix oyster sauce, soy sauce, sriracha and sugar.
Add the prawns, soy sauce mixture, pepper and rice wine. Turn on heat to very high and keep stirring for 3 minutes or until the prawns turn orange. Garnish with parsley and drizzle with sesame oil.
